At Smart Notes, we believe your thoughts are the most private data you own. Our architecture isn’t just “secure”—it’s designed to be physically impossible for us to access your notes.

1. Local-Only Intelligence

Every transcription, categorization, and “Method Engine” transformation happens on your device. We use Apple’s Neural Engine and Secure Enclave to process your voice and text. No snippets are ever sent to a server for processing.

2. Zero Tracking

We do not collect analytics on how you think. We don’t know which methods you use, how many notes you have, or what’s in them. The only data we ever see is the email you use for your Beta subscription.

3. End-to-End Encrypted Sync

If you choose to sync across your devices, we use iCloud’s end-to-end encryption. The keys are stored in your device’s keychain. Even if Apple or Smart Notes were compelled to hand over data, there is nothing to read.

4. Your Right to Delete

Since the data is local, deleting the app deletes the data. No “ghost” copies remain on our servers because they were never there to begin with.
